• Keep on checking the rearview mirror before stopping, slowing or changing the car position.
• Conduct head checks for blind spots when leaving and returning to the kerb right and left tuning and changing lanes.
• Remain alert and obey the traffic signs, road markings and signals
• Better concentrate on driving. No unnecessary talking to the examiner.
• Where needed, give way.
• Using the gap rule – 3 seconds or 4 plus seconds when the road is wet, between you and the cars in front for smooth driving technique and safety.
• Completely stopping at the stop sign line or marking before moving off the motionless car.
• Not to exceed the speed limit or drive slower either for help in low-traffic maintenance
• Wherever possible, drive in the left-hand lane. Overtaking is permitted only using the right lane.
